Microsoft and OpenAI say hackers from China, Iran, North Korea and Russia are exploring the use of large language models in their operations. 

Researchers say they combined government data with their own findings to identify previously undocumented spyware.

Victims were located mostly in the U.S., Japan and South Korea, the company said.
